Drones with sub-missiles are tools that require new attention.

The Russian Shahed-136 drones are equipped with MANPADS (Man-Portable Air-Defense Systems) missiles. And that thing can increase their operational capacity. This can cause problems for helicopters. Those are missioned. To shoot down those drones. The air-to-air, or ARM (anti-radiation missiles). Mounting to the drones can increase their survivability. So those drones can also take out targets like air-defense radars. 

And the anti-radiation missiles. They can also be dangerous. To the AEW (Airborne Early Warning Aircraft) if they scan some areas. Even if a small-sized ARM missile hits the scanning radar, it can cause damage to the aircraft's body.

There is a warning that Russian Geran-5 drones can be air-launched. Those drones can also give extended capacity to Su-30 and other attack aircraft. The kamikaze-drone. With an air-to-air missile. It can cause damage to other jet fighters. And that can cause problems for Ukraine. The MANPADS missile is not a very large thing. But it can damage the jet fighter’s structure. And that can cause problems for air defense. And at least. Potential danger to jet fighters. That pilot must be more careful. In their missions. 

The Geran-5 is actually a copy of the Iranian Karrar missile. And Russians plan to equip it with the R-23 Air-to-Air missiles. That can increase their ability to destroy enemy targets. And these kinds of systems. They can become more common. In other countries' arsenals.

Another thing is that. The new drones. Like XQ-58 Valkyrie. They can be rocket-or runway-launched. This gives them fast-reaction capacity. And those drones can carry the Air-to-Air missiles. The Valkyrie-type drones can have an advanced AI-controlled strike. And reconnaissance capacity with external mission kits or internal warheads. 

And those systems can be effective at least against helicopters. They bring a new tool to the battlefield. Those drones. They can also cooperate with manned aircraft. The manned aircraft can fly behind those drones and communicate with them using the laser data links. The mission of those drones can be used as a “shooting target”. 

The mission is to cover more expensive systems. If those drones are equipped with the ARM and other attack missiles, the radar must shut down. And that makes the air defense unable to operate. There are many times told. How vulnerable. The remote-controlled drones are against the jammer systems. The problem with jammer systems is that. It sends radiation. And that makes those jammers vulnerable to anti-radiation missiles. So, one of the purposes of those systems can be. To take out the jammer stations.
